Gumbani's latest project, HGR Presents: A Thousand Months, was recorded at East London's Total Refreshment Centre and positions him alongside the city's new generation of neo-soul and jazz artists. With a show at HQI in White City later this month, Gumbani is quickly gaining recognition for his unique style and sound.
In an interview with Crack Magazine, Gumbani said, "Before anyone speaks to you, they see you. It's a lot deeper than style for me, it's heritage and really connecting." As Gumbani continues to make a name for himself in London's music scene, fans can expect more innovative and culturally-rich projects from the rising rapper.
