Having lost his children's mother to an opiate overdose in 2017, and his 18-year- old son to Fentanyl in 2021, he is committed to spreading awareness about Narcan, a life- saving drug for those suffering from an opiate overdose.

CHIEF_KNOCKA_SNODO's most meaningful songs are those dedicated to his children - "GEMMAS SONG" or "FINALLY HOME" and "NATHAN'S SONG". These songs were created from a place of immense pain and loss, changing his perspective on life and music. The loss has made him darker, obsessed with death, heaven, and hell, themes which are now omnipresent in his music.
